  • Studious sussudio photography with Andrew Penketh

I've been working closely with Andrew Penketh for the past two months to deliver a range of product shots for our clients new brand library. Collaborating with Andrew has shown me what a dark art great product photography really is – manipulating paths of light through man made ravines of black card to get the perfect shot.

I hope the final results are as mouth watering as Andrew's folio!

  • We’re ready for your photograph now Tweetie

This month we’ve been working with photographer Philip Gatward on a set images for a brand library. We’ve been a fan of Philip’s since he produced his ‘Pedrigree’ series a few years back, where he applied his meticulous approach to studio portraiture to an unusual set of subjects including whippets, koi carp, dahlias and – my favourite – these rather pompous looking budgies, I’m sure they knew they were posing!

  • Strike a pose

Fashion in the office is normally saved for ‘dress down Friday’ but we are collaborating with photographer Dan Wilton, (example of his work shown above), to create a set of unique workplace images tinged with a fashion edge. These images will form part of the brand expression for a major client project that we are currently working on, we will keep you posted with the results!

  • SABIC Annual Report 2010

Hot off the press, we’ve just taken delivery of our latest annual report for SABIC, the sixth report we’ve produced for them. This year’s report reflects SABIC’s ‘Culture of innovation’ by the bold use of laser foils and varnish treatments, with the year’s success stories and manufacturing capabilities demonstrated throughout by our new location shoot, taking in Europe, Saudi Arabia, India, China and the USA. To add to the challenge, the report is printed in both English and Arabic versions.

Location photography by John Wildgoose, board photography by Michael Harding.

  • ‘It’s over’

Photographer John Wildgoose has been on a little trip for us for the upcoming SABIC Annual Report. The text below from John’s blog highlights what he’s been through:

    –––––––––

    IT’S OVER

    I just finished my shoot.

    32 DAYS AWAY
    18 SHOOT DAYS
    12 TRAVEL DAYS
    13 DIFFERENT BEDS
    19 FLIGHTS
    15 LOCATIONS
    6 COUNTRIES
    3 (and a bit) CONTINENTS
1 ENTIRE CIRCUMNAVIGATION OF THE GLOBE

When I get home I have some trees to plant. Sorry planet.

    –––––––––

The main thing is the results are fantastic, we’ll post some shots once they are in the public domain. You can see John’s blog here.
