70% of the UK public back wind but a strong ‘anti’ argument is continually pushed by influencers in the media. The challenge: Create a standout consumer campaign that engages the silent majority in favour of this proven technology whilst busting commonly held myths.
Creating sticky content
Attempts by other organisations to educate the public are overly technical. Where’s the fun? Tight budgets mean ads are out, so let’s focus on social. Our concept: create engaging Facebook content under the rallying-cry ‘Stand up for wind’. Use classic British imagery and humour to tackle myths head-on; ‘windsense vs nonsense.’ Engage with the antis as well as pros to create a vibrant forum on Facebook for discussion, ensuring the UK really ‘gets wind’.
