Just noticed this Google ad from Heavenly, demonstrating the issues that can arise when agency founders walk away from their own agency.

Many thanks to Monotype for inviting team Bisqit to their Soho Webfest last night. The night was to celebrate their Webfonts service, which allows any typeface in any language base from the Monotype / Linotype / ITC catalogue to be set as HTML text. System fonts have been the bugbear of the type-savvy designer for years so this is a great step forward.
The system is explained on the Monotype site.
However, after a few glasses of wine I had a strange recollection that there used to be a Monotype brass band. Indeed, a bit of research today testifies I wasn't imagining it. I love the fact that type used to be proper man's work — A day spent labouring over hot metal and an evening playing in the brass band. Apparently the Monotype band was very popular with the workers of the time as you could get time off work for practice! – Maybe we need to start a Bisqit band?

We're currently enjoying spoof PR brand HeishmanFillard. Not sure who’s behind this worryingly spot-on parody, but they must have a lot of time on their hands as it comes complete with Twitter, Facebook and YouTube accounts.
Part of a growing trend of spoof online brands, there’s a growing audience for this kind of thing as evidenced by the 180,000 people currently following the fake BP Twitter feed.
